Audio clips (narrations) are playing on the wrong slide(s)

I've recently started running into this issue with audio in my Storyline files. Sometimes the audio will look and play fine in editing mode but then play incorrectly when published, even after previewing correctly. Other times, it will play incorrectly when editing, though it looks like the correct file. Sometimes copying the audio will correct it, sometimes it does not. Exporting the audio doesn't always work, as sometimes it is correct and sometimes it isn't.  It's very frustrating to be finishing up a project only to have this issue pop up. Has there been any resolution?
