Audio doesn't play automatically in Storyline
I have added audio to the second slide of my project and when I publish to review it doesn't play automatically - I have attached the file so perhaps someone can tell me why

Hi Jane
The issue is that for audio to autoplay inside a browser it must be user initiated (press a button in this case). This is why articulate add a black screen with a play button on the first slide if there is media on the slide. The way you have it set up there is no way for the user to initiate, you either need to add a start button on the first slide or add some media on the first slide and Articulate will add in the default option automatically.
There are posts on here that will say the timeline start trigger will work, but Chrome uses an internal media controller that ranks pages you always visit and when you cross the threshold it allows media to play automatically, I have never found a reliable way beyond adding a start button or using the defaults

I add in such cases on the start page of a training a small silent audio file (-> unused layer), so storyline shows the play-button (only if needed)
