Audio file (voice-to-text) length - variable. Can it be captured?
Is there a way -in SL360- to use a Built-in (or Project) variable that measure the length of a voice-to-text audio file (so one can associate it with a trigger too, but the main purpose would be to capture the length in seconds)?
Thanks in advance if anyone can lend some help.

Hi Andy!
It sounds like you are trying to use variables to measure the duration of a Text-to-Speech audio track from your Storyline 360 course.
One way to achieve this would be with the use of Elapsed Time Variables. Specifically the Slide.ElapsedTime variable which measures the cumulative elapsed time (in milliseconds) spent on a slide. I've attached a sample file with a nine-second Text-to-Speech audio track and a button the learner can press to measure the duration of the audio.
A more basic approach would be referencing the timeline while in edit mode to observe the length of the Text-to-Speech audio track; then add a cue point and associate that with the trigger you plan on adding to your course.
I hope this helps! If you were looking for a different type of functionality please let me know and I'd be happy to assist further!
