Audio Response and File Upload for Learners in Rise?
Hi I would like to have a section in my course where learners can record and submit their voice recordings, or upload a file. Is there such a function in Rise? Thank you!

Hi there, Jessica. This function doesn't exist right now. We'll let you know if we add the ability to upload files.
Is there a web-based solution that you could embed in your Rise course to capture learner voices?

I'd also like to be able to do this and would encourage you all to consider adding in this feature!
Jessica, please let me know if you find an alternative solution! :)

Hi,
Did anybody find a way around to upload pdf's from students?
Hi Karen! Thanks for reaching out!
We're still tracking requests for a submission or survey block to get learner's data. For now, as a workaround, you can use a third-party form such as Google Forms and use the Embed Block in Rise 360.
When using Google Forms, to allow users to submit attachments:- Click Add question
and enter your request for information.
- Next to the question, click the Down arrow
and select File upload.
- Click Add question

Fliprid will go in as embed link. It will let you do video responses. It will go into Rise but it isn't seamless.

Commenting in hopes this will be upgraded to a feature request.
While embedding of third party form application works. It only works when the org has SSO and the user is logged in.
Otherwise capturing these on a public form is quite chaotic when the course takes in about 100-400 requests. i.e people entering their name wrong in a form, not mentioning their name or student number on a audio file etc.
Would really like a seamless approach to either add it as a feature within knowledge checks or assessments.- EmilyGiglioCommunity Member
I agree - having to use yet another application makes things more complicated
Any updates about this feature?

I am hoping that this feature will be added shortly! I would use it.

Would love to have this feature. We often do learning challenges asking our learners to upload files, videos, or audio.

I'd also like to see this feature embedded in Storyline 360. It would be a godsend for language teachers and the language learners they help.

Looking forward to this feature. It will be great if the learner can upload a document or file of some sorts in Rise as way of assessment.
