Audio Tracks Overlapping After Publish – Storyline 360

Has anyone else run into audio tracks overlapping after publishing in Storyline 360?

On most of our slides, the first and second audio clips overlap with each other, but only AFTER the project is published — everything looks and sounds fine in the editor and preview.

Our only workaround so far is to manually increase the gap between the two audio tracks, but we can't catch the overlap until after we've already published, so it turns into a frustrating cycle: publish → discover the overlap → go back and adjust timing → republish. On projects with a lot of slides this eats up a huge amount of time.

This has already caused some embarrassing moments with clients, so I'd really appreciate any insight:

- Has anyone found the root cause of this?

- Is there a setting or publish option that affects audio timing?

- Any reliable workaround besides manually padding the gap?

I've also reported this directly to Articulate Support, but wanted to check if this is a known/common issue in the community. Thanks in advance!

The issue doesn't arise in Review 360?

If your company's policy allows you could test in SCORM Cloud, which means publishing is really easy.

Are you using the latest Storyline? (3.122.37553.0, I believe.)

Thanks for the quick response, Carl!

Unfortunately, due to our company’s security policies, we’re not allowed to upload or host our content on external cloud platforms, so testing in SCORM Cloud isn’t an option for us — and Review 360 would likely fall under the same restriction, since it’s also cloud-based.

And yes, we’re on the latest version of Storyline 360.

      Appreciate you looking into this!
