My solution: I needed to uninstall Avast antivirus software, in order to allow Windows Defender to take over my anti-virus function again. Windows Defender is happy with Articulate 360, so my login problem was resolved. It does seem that Avast was giving a false positive, so I am happier just getting rid of Avast, so that Windows Defender could give the thumbs up. Maybe this will help someone else with the same issue. Thanks.
