Back ground music on only selected slides
Hello everyone, I need help with having some back ground music play on only the first 4 slides when the scene 1 starts- (Articulate Storyline 360)
Currently my experience is if I insert background music, it attaches to the entire project- all slides, and I have to go back to my million other slides and silence the unneeded music audio playing. Not the most efficient use of my time-
How do I customize to have the background music play on ONLY the first 4 slides in Scene 1?

Good news! I'm happy to share that we just released Storyline 360 (Build 3.81.31200.0), which includes a feature to control the background audio for each slide using triggers to play, pause, or stop the playlist.
This was highly requested, so we hope it serves you in your course creation! If you run into any snags, don't hesitate to contact our team in a support case.

There isn't a way to enable background music to play on selected slides in Storyline 360 right now, but I can confirm that this is a feature request that has been requested by many members of the community. I've added your voice to the request, and we'll be sure to notify you when this makes it to our product roadmap!
I also would find this useful and hope to see it come out soon!

Happy to see background music has now been added to play on all slides continuously and seamlessly. However, this does not solve the OPs concern. If for example, we have a course with 50 slides. We only want background music playing on a 3-slide rotator before the learning clicks start on Slide #3. We do not want to now have to put a trigger or remaining 47 slides to tell it not to play.
Make sense? I dont believe there is a fast way to do this now, even with this enhanced feature of adding a background music playlist.Hi CassandraMcM303! Sounds like you’d love more control so you can play music on just a few slides, like an intro or rotator, without having to stop it on the rest.
A simpler way to manage background audio by slide or section would make things a lot smoother. I've shared that idea with our Product team.
