Background audio for specific scenes

The only way to get audio to play seamlessly between slides is by creating a background audio playlist. This works great if you just want random music playing in the background, but not if you want the music or audio to correlate with specific scenes. Example, I am working on a project where each scene is a different location, I'd like to play a different mp3 file for each of these scenes to correlate with the location.

I'm not seeing a way to do this right now, am I missing something?

  • Not that I know of. The way I got around this is to put the audio file on the slide. Make sure it is long enough to play longer than needed and reduce the sound level, so it doesn't cover any other audio.

The problem with that is that will only work on a slide by slide basis, as soon as you go to another slide the audio file will stop.
