Blurry Images in Preview and Published
Just wanted to let folks know that I tried working with support on this issue and there was no resolution. In fact, the advice that was given to me by the tech didn't work, even for him! He admitted there was no solution to my issue and just went ahead and submitted it as a "feature request" and basically said to just hope it gets fixed sometime soon. Meanwhile, I have to either change my design to avoid these blurry, sub-standard images or hope that our audience doesn't really care that it looks terrible. I doubt the latter is a realistic option...
And, just to reiterate - we are having this problem with SL360, so it's not something that affects just those who aren't on the "premium" version of SL.
Hi Logan,
I took a look at your case with Christopher (case #01879676) and saw that he shared it was submitted as a bug to our team (not a feature request). This issue is slightly different than the previous discussions here in E-Learning Heroes in that it's specific to images added to a shape or set as an image fill within a shape. That's different than the previous issue which has been fixed and dealt with how the slide content was rendered within browsers such as Chrome.
Let me know if there is anything else I can clear up on this.

OK, sorry Ashley. Feature request or bug aside, this is still a very frustrating issue that hasn't been dealt with for nearly a year! Pretty upsetting.

Hi Logan,
No apologies necessary, as I know this discussion has been ongoing and full of concerns and fixes connected to blurriness. I did want to clarify one more piece with you, and for any others here in the community.
The issue you've worked on with our support team, in that images added to existing shapes as fill are blurry, was only reported approximately 4 months ago. The larger issue discussed here where everything on a slide was blurry in the Chrome browser was fixed in an earlier update to Storyline.
We know there is more work to do on a number of these issues, so we're focused on those fixes and will continue to share updates as they're available.

Hi Ashley,
Thanks for the reply. I actually first submitted a case for this issue back in September of 2018 - no resolution was found. It has always bugged me and so when I recently began work on another project that used a similar look/feel, I reported it again. I just wanted to clarify that this issue has been brought to Articulate's attention (at least once by me) 9+ months ago, not 4. If you'd like my original case number from 9/2018, please let me know.
Thanks!
Logan
