can i add an email link as a resource?
I want to show the instructors email address in the resources list. Has anyone acheived this?

The built-in Resources tab doesn't accept an e-address as the link.
Instead, you could create a slide with the e-addresses and other resources, and link to that in a custom Resources tab. This post describes how: TIP: Create Custom Player Tabs for Your Resources, Glossary, and More - Articulate Storyline Discussions - E-Learning Heroes

Thanks for the reply, sounds like a good option. My resource is in the Sidebar with the menu and glossary, when i try to add a new tab it always places it in the topbar, any idea what i might be doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. Custom tabs always go in the topbar.
I can't say for sure why, but my guess is that it's because a custom tab itself doesn't show information the way the Menu or Notes do. Instead, a tab just performs one of the allowed actions:
So if you want to use a custom tab to lightbox a slide with the course Resources, the tab will have to be in the topbar.
