Can Storyline do After Effects?
Here at Aviva, our Digital Garage create numerous After Effects explainer videos.
This got me to thinking if Storyline could do the same, so I set myself the challenge to find out.
Here is the original - After Effects version
Here is my - Storyline 3 version
Except for a few icons here and there everything was done in Storyline.
Hope it inspires you with your Storyline projects

incredible! I would love to see how you achieved this especially the morphing effects! I am interested in After Effects but if I can achieve this in Storyline all the better.

Hi John. Could you please re-post the Storyline version? I'd love to take a look but the link is no longer working.

When working with vectors, how do you keep the layers of the vectors separate in storyline? I have tried so many ways to export them and they always convert to an image file... and then look blurry when adjusting size. If I try to paste in layers separate, the size is usually enormous and off center and takes lots of sorting and resizing to get it to look like it does in illustrator..

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out! We don't currently support .SVG files in Storyline 360, but there is a way to import them as native shapes via PowerPoint. This article shares more on those steps:
We do have a report of folks who have requested this feature, and I'll be sure to add you to that list. We'll jump back in here with any updates to share as we continue to evaluate this feature based on our process here.
