Can the maximum length of the title be extended from 80 characters to 120?

I work with an organization that has the need for long titles, as courses are based on legal long names and cannot be shortened. Is there any way in which the maximum length of the title be extended from 80 characters to 120-130? I have a plan B but ideally, I would place the title in the Player field.
