Can we rename the variables that appear in an LMS report?

We're working with a client who is not accustomed to using eLearning or LMS. We would like to give them a Storyline project with LMS data that is intuitive for them to read. For example, one of the data points that they need their employees to input is their region - East USA or West USA. Right now, the LMS data looks like this:

cmi.interactions.0.learner_response
West

&nbsp;
The "cmi.interactions.0.learner_response" is confusing for someone who has never looked at this type of data before.&nbsp;
My question is - is it possible to rename this variable to something more intuitive, such as "Region"?

I would not advise that you try to rename the LMS data output directly; too much opportunity to create errors.
Instead, why not provide the client with a "secret decoder ring" that simply does what you are asking:&nbsp;

LMS output field XXX =&gt; "real life interpretation"
"cmi.interactions.0.learner_response" = "region"
