Can you add a layer to a Feedback Master?
I may be missing something here. In design view I can add layers to the Feedback Master slide and to the layouts.

By feedback master slide, do you mean Result slide? Feedback "slides" are actually layers themselves, so a layer can't be added to them.
You can add layouts to Feedback masters, then when you create a new layer, or edit a built-in layout, choose a different layout.
