Can you place a drop shadow on a scaled video?
I know how to get a drop shadow on a shape or text, but when I try it on a video I place on the slide, the controls to add a drop shadow appear to be locked and don't allow it. Is this possible or ...
Thank you Ashley. It's entirely an aesthetic consideration. You can do this in Powerpoint with a video. When you add a drop shadow, it just lifts the video off the page a bit, gives it more depth a appears more 3-D like. It would be a "nice to have" in terms of dressing up the slide but it's certainly not a make or break feature. More than anything I didn't want to spend alot of time searching for how to do something that it's not capable of doing. In reading over the varous how-to's, it does say you can add a shadow to objects, text and movies. So I thought perhaps I was just not approaching it correctly.
