Cannot install or uninstall Articulate Storyline 3 HELP !!!!!
Storyline 3 was acting up so I tried to uninstall it:
1. Uninstall said Storyline 3 was not available and removed the entry from the programs list.
2. I then run storyline-3.exe to install popup says "Articulate Storyline has already been installed. with a FINISH button
3. I removed every key with an articlate form regedit. Still,,same popup up as above.
I cannot reinstall windows just because your program is screwing up in my computer.
HELP !!! Is there a tool to remove Storyline 3 completely from my computer?
so I can reinstall it without the popup saying it's already installed?

Hi Robert,
You can try to download a free or a trial version of Revo Uninstaller and use that to clear all traces of Articulate Storyline 3 from your system.
Revo Uninstaller is a freeware uninstall utility. It has features to uninstall programs scanning for leftover files, folders and registry entries after uninstall.
Make sure to restart your PC once the cleanup/removal is complete as this will ensure that you are starting from a clean slate. You can then try to reinstall Articulate Storyline 3 after.
You can download the software from here: https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
Hope this helps.

I deleted folder called windows cache in the hidden ProgramData. (Windows please do not name folder's cache), it held uninstall info.
After deleted about 200 regedit keys using find 'Articulate'. Just after about 10 million hex coded keys (after last F). An Articulate install key for the Programdata folder showed up and I deleted it.
I reinstalled successfully there after.

Try using IObit uninstaller

As I said the software is already uninstalled so it won't be visible in a
list of installed software. I guess there is a cached file which I have to
delete manually.

I am having this same problem right now. I wanted to uninstall Storyline 3 build 8.x from my computer. Although it's installed and running on my computer, in the control panel, it isn't listed as an option to uninstall/remove in my list of installed programs. I am not comfortable mucking around with my registry. What is your suggestion, Articulate technical support?

Wow, this is brutal. I am having the same problem, there seems to be no way to uninstall this software. I made the mistake of choosing the serial number option rather than using the free trial license I had acquired and now I am unable to redo that choice, locked out of storyline and unable to install it to start over. Very painful as I was hoping to learn how storyline worked tonight.
