Can't change color of bullet
I'm having an issue where no matter what I do, one of my bullet points is showing up at black and I cannot change the color. Any ideas what's causing this/ how to correct the problem?

This shouldn't exactly require a "feature request" though should it? How would that go, exactly?...Please include the ability to use one of the allegedly built-in functions of this software in a way that doesn't add hours and hours of production to every presentation I create... Though I'm glad I finally found this workaround, I'm sad that this is actually an issue with the software; I was much happier when I thought I was doing something wrong.

I've seen this exact same issue with PowerPoint and Word. It doesn't appear isolated to Storyline from my experience. But in all cases, the workarounds described seem to take care of it.
Hi William and welcome to Heroes,
In addition to the workarounds shared here, I wanted to point you to another thread where Becky shared a screenr on how to update this.
Thanks Duane for your thoughts as well.

I was sooooo frustrated. I'm better now...
Sometimes it just takes a weekend?
Glad to hear you're doing better, and if you need anything else please let us know.

I still consistently have problem with the color of bullet lists. I've tried ALL these suggestions. I have even tried several more I thought of, like copying/pasting through Notepad to remove hidden formatting. No luck. I often have to insert a new text box, manually re-type the text, and then reformat the text. Do this 5-10x per course, and it starts to add up :(
Hi Todd,
This discussion is quite a bit older, are you having the same trouble where one bullet is a different color? I was testing this in Storyline 3 and Storyline 360, and in both versions, I was able to change the color of the bullets and choose a separate color from the text as well. I recorded a quick screencast of how I'm changing the bullet colors here.

Is this available? The link just gave a 404 error.
Hi there, Jaime!
Thanks for raising this. Here's a new video demo on how to change the color of a bullet in Storyline 360.
By default, the bullet color will match the text color. You can also change the bullet color by clicking the Drawing Tools Format tab and then the drop-down arrow icon next to Bullets > clicking Bullets and Numbering.
Let me know if that helps!

Same problem even now.
Hello D!
I'm happy to help. Would you mind sharing more details about what you're running into?
- Are you not able to change the bullets' color on a specific slide, or is this affecting all slides?
- Which version of Storyline are you using?
- Do you have a file that you can upload to us? Here's a secure upload link.
We'll be ready to help after gathering more information on the snag!

I don't find that the bullet color matches the text color, specifically on my Feedback slides. The Feedback slides are coming in by default at 89,89,89. But generally after the text is there and I highlight the text I want to make bullets, the bullets are in black. The way I have to fix it is to select the bulleted text > Bullet & Numbering format > Adjust the color to 89,89,89 ----OR-----Select all text on the Feedback slide and make it black. The easiest way is the latter, however if I want my text the grayer color and bullets to match, I have to go into a lot of slides to make it the matching color to the text.
I'm also having trouble with different sizes of bullets appearing. I see others have had that issue from a different thread of posts.
Any suggestions for me on either issue?
