Can't figure out how to remove automated scroll bar appearing in Accessibility Text

Are you experiencing the same thing as Christian? I looked into their support case, and it seems our team was able to replicate the issue if the text didn't fit in the textbox. The first troubleshooting step recommended was to try choosing the Expand height in the Autofit section.

With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your file to investigate what's going on. You can upload it here or share it privately with our team in a support case. We'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.

Unfortunately, neither option solves the problem 100%.
If I do Expand height I still get a scrollbar if the text is too long.
If I do Expand width I get scrollbars when the text is too tall...
Overflow Handling -> Allow text to overflow does not work for me at all.
The problem is with presentations after translations (using the export tool) or importing slides from PPT.
Sometimes I have 10-20 such scrollbars per slide....
The only solution is to expand each window manually.
I have gone through all the options and it is simply a bug, an inconvenience of the program.

I've been looking for a solution for a year now becouse it's really costing me a lot of work, so much so that I've started testing other programs like "Lectora" :(

Since we aren't able to recreate the issue, would you mind sharing your project file or a screen recording of this behavior? I have opened a support case on your behalf and emailed you an upload link where you can share your .story file or a screen recording. This will help our Support Engineers better understand what you're experiencing and help us determine what the fix is.

I've got what I believe is the same problem. It seems to have appeared when I turned on the accessibility text feature. However, the scrollbar is associated with a shape object, not a text object. So my shapes now have scroll bars--which makes no sense. Scrolling the scroll bars doesn't move anything in the screens.

Hello . . . I'm having the same issue! 

I would like to reverse all of the "Display Accessible Text by Defualt" functionality.

I don't have scroll bars but text is now running off the page or over the top of buttons after doing the Upgrade Project text....and this was in response to support advice to fix the problem. Has not fixed anything and looks like we are going to have to manually update and review 30+ files because of an upgrade. So frustrating.

Hi, I am also having trouble with scrollbars appearing on shapes on several of my slides. I've tried the suggested solutions stated above, but have not been successful. Would it be possible for a Storyline Wizard to look at my file as well?
