Captions in Rise

When trying to upload captions in Rise it says it accepts .srt and .vtt files, but my .srt file is greyed out and not selectable. 

In 'learn more' it only mentions .vtt files. 

Can .srt files be added? Is there anything special I need to do to make them available to Rise? I've created them in Premier Pro.
