Centering images in Rise tabs and accordians
Hi team
When adding images to Rise tabs and accordians they are automatically left aligned which is ok if the image is landscape and fills the space but if the image is smaller it doesn't look great. It would be good to have the option to centre images and also resize. (Maybe I'm missing something?)
Thanks
Ange

I've got to add to this discussion - not being able to center (or at least have Rise recognize it should fill the available space) a picture is painful - the results look terrible and the work arounds are tedious.

Yes, please develop a way so that the images center or fill the width. Left-justified looks unprofessional and it is distracting.

People have been asking for this for three years? And you call your design responsive!

Still can't believe this is not being resolved. I agree with Beth Dokolasa. This does look very unprofessional and amateurish. I am very surprised this has been allowed to continue.

+1 Request submitted.

Jesus christ, how is this still a requested feature? This is a basic feature of any text editor and this software is extremely expensive...

Just again here to ask how this isn't already a feature after being requested more than 3 years ago? I submitted a formal request to piggyback on this seemingly basic needed function.

Hi, Great idea Holly! Do you know what size should the images be in the accordion or tabs? Thanks
Claudia
Hi Claudia!
Images with dimensions of 16:9 work best in an accordion block. At 5389 x 3113 px, your image is almost 16:9! If your image doesn't quite look centered, you can use PowerPoint to add white space on both sides of the image to make it appear centered within the accordion.
Here's how:
- Open PowerPoint.
- Set the slide size to 16:9.
- Insert the image on the PowerPoint slide. Scale up the image until it fills the height of the slide.
- Align the image to the center of the slide.
- Save the PPT file as a PNG image.
- Insert the PNG image in the accordion block.
Please let me know if that helps!

Or you could just supply a simple option to centre the image. Wouldn't that be the easiest option for everybody?

I agree with Chris, and the other people who have commented here over the last 3+ years. Please encourage your dev team to make this an option... Or a default!! There's not one single time that I have wanted left-aligned images in an accordion.
