Change color and opacity of loader overlay

Hi, If you have content that requires a preloader that pops up over the content for a minute is there any way to change the color of the background of the preloader? It is black and looks terrible ...

    I figured out that if you modify the loader-container style in the desktop.min.css file you can change the RGB value.

Is there no way to change it through a Javascript execution? Do you know the CSS style that determines the color?
