Changing theme colours in Rise 360 courses
Hello,
I have 2 questions.
1. Is there a way to change all colors, including the accent colors
2. Is there a way to change the colors in the default template som I do not have to change it in every new course I create?
Under settings in the specific course there is a Customize Theme option, however I can not understand how to change the brand color and the accent colors. I can only change the one custom color.
Thank you for helping me out here!
Hi everyone!
I wanted to share an update related to some of the branding and color-management requests in this discussion! 🎉 Brands is now available in public beta in Rise 360.
With Brands, you can create reusable presets that include a primary brand color and additional brand colors, along with your organization’s logo and heading and body fonts. Those additional colors are then available as brand presets in color selectors while you’re authoring.
You can also set a Brand as the default for newly created training, which addresses the need to start new content with consistent branding instead of setting up those elements again each time.
Brands doesn’t currently provide control over every theme or interface color mentioned in this discussion, so we’d especially love your feedback on the additional color controls your organization needs.
You can learn more about creating and applying Brands. Since Brands is in public beta, you can also share your feedback through the Share feedback option next to the beta tag.

Hi Sara,
On the Customize Theme page you can only choose a single color.
You can select one of the six predefined colors shown, or if you don't like any of them, you can choose a Custom color.
I can see why you thought there are two color choices available, as in your screen shot it shows both Accent Color and Brand Color in the popup.
Although worded differently, Accent Color and Brand Color are actually the same thing.
What we have done is setup a Rise course that we use as a template.
It has the the custom color, course image, logo, fonts, and navigation choices set up.
Whenever we start a new course, we copy the template course and then start editing.

The default colours are really really awful and look terrible when used together. It would be great to be able to customise the set, or even choose from other predefined colour sets.
The inability for this colour tool
to allow pinning or building personal colour sets means colour management happens entirely outside Rise, such as in a spreadsheet or note document.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your thoughts on theme colors! The best way to possibly see a change in a feature is to submit a feature request. You can submit one here. If the request makes it onto our feature roadmap, we’ll make sure to update you in this conversation!
Thanks for reaching out!

Hello, Could you please confirm that there is NO WAY to create a custom color palette choosing ALL the colors I would need to use in a theme?? It's hard to believe this hasn't been worked out. Seems like a very simple and obvious user need and a basic UI issue.
I would very much appreciate help with this issue.
Thanks!Hi Vladimir!
I understand you have questions about color customization options in Rise 360!
I noticed that you've also opened a support case and connected with my teammate, Mcgem. I see he logged your feedback with our product team! Saving custom color palettes is not yet possible in Rise 360, but we'll share updates if this feature makes it to our Feature Roadmap.
Have a great rest of your week!

Hi Nicole! I understand you wanted the ability to further modify the navigation bar colors.
We don't currently offer additional editing options for changing the navigation colors. However, we are currently tracking a request for the ability to apply a different font color and size for the entire course including the navigation bar.
I'll reach out to you again if we make changes that will help.
