Character state change problems
I have a scenario where a built in library character reacts to dialog on a series of layers. I chose 5 poses to change at the beginning of each layer when it's triggered. Each pose is set to be the initial state of the different layers.
My problem is that the "normal" state of the character flashes briefly before loading the new layer's initial state. I can't get it to stop. Any ideas on why this happens?

I'm no expert on this so I'm not sure what might be causing that. Two things I might try would be making the initial state hidden on the base layer unless you need to see normal, or making normal a blank and just the images in the rest of them. (I don't even know if you can do the second one.) If you need the normal view, maybe you could add a trigger to hide normal then show the one you want. There's an order to triggers, so make sure this is at the top of activities on the triggers. Are you using it as when timeline starts?
Hopefully Tom or one of the heroes stops by with another idea.

This has been tagged as a bug by support. My solution was to change the normal state to whatever the new pose should be. So basically, no states.
