Clicking a video is considered playing, but playing is not considered clicking
Hi,
In the triggers list, it is possible to trigger an event when a video is "clicked", and Articulate also plays the video when clicked.
However, if the play button in the control bar is clicked, the video plays, but the trigger is *not* fired.
Can these actions please be linked?
Many thanks in advance.

- Hello DeveloperIgniti, - Thanks for reaching out! Storyline doesn’t currently have a trigger that fires when clicking a video. - As a workaround, you can place a hotspot over the video (making sure it doesn’t cover the video controls). Then set it to play the video and add your desired trigger action when the hotspot is clicked. - I’ve attached a sample Storyline file to show how this can be done. - If you have any other questions or ideas, feel free to let us know. - ChristinaClark-Community MemberI'm not sure this answers the query EricSantos . The issue is that you can set a trigger "do X when user clicks video", but this trigger doesn't work if the user clicks the video control rather than the video itself. For example, I want to adjust a variable when the video is clicked, including if the user clicks the video control. I also want users to be able to seek in the video if they wish so covering it with a hotspot isn't a good solution.
