Co-Owners for Rise Courses
Hi all,
Is it possible to assign a co-owner to a course?
I'm interested in setting up Rise so that multiple team members can currently have permission to edit and export a course.
Thanks,
-Ben

Adding a comment to subscribe to the update.
As part of an L&D department that spans several time zones, it is essential that co-owners or course collaborators can have the ability to not only edit and preview but to publish when necessary as well.

Hello,
Yes please also notify me when there is an update to this feature. Co-ownership is a must for our business too.
Thank you

Agree with practically everyone here. Rang the bell and subbed to the thread. I hope there's a semblance of an ETA. Research on similar topics is showing that this has been an ongoing request for almost a year now.

Can we please get an ETA? Is it already in the pipeline? Are people working on it or is it something you know we are going to be waiting a while for?
Hi there!
Just wanted to let you all know that we heard you and we're actively working on this feature. :) Unfortunately, I don't have an exact ETA for you right now but I'll be sure to update you as soon as possible.
Thanks for your understanding and patience.

That would be very helpful as it would resolve an issue my team has been experiencing with hiring contract workers to assist with content development.

Glad to hear it's in the works but figured I'd throw out there that this has been a MAJOR issue for us since we started using Rise and has led to many headaches with version tracking. When only one team member can export, there's a tendency to copy courses back and forth rather than just sharing so that all collaborators can edit settings and export. We're currently in the midst of digging ourselves out of an issue with versioning that is quite a bear to tackle. Looking forward to this feature being available.
Hi Dan,
I'm sorry to hear that you've run into some versioning issues. I know from experience that that can be super frustrating! The good news is that when this feature becomes available you shouldn't have to worry about that anymore. :) Thanks for your patience.

Hi, please keep me notified on this topic. Co-ownership is a must for our University too.
In addition it would be really helpful if we can make a difference between co-owners and instructors. At the moment a small group of instructional designers develops the course material in cooperation with the instructors/teachers on a certain topic. Our teachers don't need a full articulate 360 license, but it would be great if they had some options to make small adjustments to a course (eg changing text or links in a block).
Will do, Geert! :) You're now subscribed to this conversation which means as we share updates here, you’ll automatically be notified.
Regarding your other request, unfortunately in order to make any kind of edits - even small ones - teachers will need to have a subscription. However, another option would be to send them the course in Review 360 so they can add comments and you can make the changes for them.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. :)

Hi, I see this conversation is a few months old now. Any updates? We really need to be able to share ownership of Rise courses.
