Code text in Rise
Hi all
I'm doing a lesson on coding and want the code text to be in a different monospaced font (from the body text).
The only way I have found to change fonts is through the theme for the whole project. This means that different sections cannot use different fonts - am I right?
Does anyone have a work-around for this?
If not, can I make a feature request that the settings for a text section include the option to change the font for just that section.
Thanks

Hi Chris,
Have you tried the Code Snippet block type?
It is one of the Multimedia blocks.

Thanks
That seems to be a place to write JavaScript for use on the page, not a place to display code as text for the user to see - or do I have that wrong?

Hi Chris,
Exactly the opposite.
Rise does not support user inserted JavaScript.
This block is intended specifically to display code as text.

Hi Chris,
I'm not sure what you are starting with, but maybe you can embed a HTML file of the code. The process I used is here - https://community.articulate.com/discussions/building-better-courses/programming-and-coding-ide-blocks-inside-the-course
