collaboration and sharing between accounts

I am a Rise and Storyline designer, and my company also uses an outside company to build some of our courses. For consistency, I'd like to share my block templates with their builders, but I am not part of their team account. Is there a way to share and collaborate in Rise with "outsiders"?

We also use external developers to develop some of our Rise courses.

You can make anyone outside your organization that has a Rise account a collaborator on a Rise course.

As far as I'm aware, when you create Template blocks and share them with your team members, only those on the same teams account will get to see the shared blocks.

What we have done is to put all of our block templates in one Rise course as our Rise style guide,

We typically send a copy of the course to our external developers. This help keep things clean as our contractors cannot make changes to our master style guide.

  • Can the same be done for Storyline (sharing cloud Team Templates) to someone within the same organization, but with a different department's license?

  • Hi Ivan! The Teams Slides feature in Storyline 360 allows you to share project templates and slides with other people on your Articulate 360 Teams license. If you want to use that feature with someone outside of your Articulate 360 team, you'll have to add them to a user seat on your license.
