colour palette
Hi,
It will be helpful if the colour palette can remember 'recently used' colours please. I have to enter the HEX code, every time I have to use a particular colour. Adding a recently used section to the palette or an eye dropper will help. What do people think? Do you agree that this will be a useful feature to have?
Many thanks,
Angel.
Hi, Angel 👋
Really, really love that you're deep diving into Rise and are sharing all of your thoughts along the way! As you've heard, customer input is extremely valuable to us so please keep 'em coming!
I'm also curious to hear others' thoughts about the ability to remember colors used. Please let us know, as we're all ears!

Thanks Katie.

Not exactly a 'deep dive' Katie - this is just basic adding to a colour palette. Rise is infuriatingly limited in its editabilty.

"Infuriatingly limited" is the best way to describe it. This is a definite shortcoming.

so yes, literally everyone who uses the product wants this feature. maybe time to implement as this thread has been open for over 4 years?

I've seen some requests still opened after 10 years Gabe. It's really bad.

Thank you Angel! Great benefit to many of us!

I'd also appreciate this feature. Please let us know when/if it will ever be viable as it would be a huge time saver for us!

This would be a huge time saver, especially if we could have a row of custom or brand colors for the project. Themes need to also be extended so that we can have more options in how the overall design looks. I know you can do this creatively with custom background colors, but it would be nice to have even greater control.
Thanks for the feedback, Tim and Anthony!

I too would like to see recently used colors or be able to add custom colors to the palette. Having these would save an enormous amount of time.

I agree that this would be a great feature to add.
When working with a corporate brand book, it is important to use corporate colors. Switching back and forth between the brand book and the course to copy and paste HEX codes is a frustrating experience.

So, if I understand correctly, we can only add 1 custom color and then have to use the default palette for everything else?
- KarlMullerCommunity Member
Using Hex codes, you can use any number of custom colors.
However, the hex codes you enter will not become a part of the default palette. For example, in Word, it saves recently used custom colors.
Rise does not do that.

I would love to have this feature. It would make development much faster.

This request was brought up 2 years ago and as a new user can see that it still has not been implemented. Do you have an ETA as to when it will be implemented?
