Completion in Microlearnings?
Hi all,
We have been using Microlearnings (SCORM 1.2) in our course which we uploaded into our edX LMS. The settings we chose to track learners is "complete/incomplete". In the LMS, we have set up "prerequisites" which opens up subsequent modules based on the completion % of the current module - currently have it set to 80%. We are having issues where participants are saying that they have gone through the content but the next module remains locked.
My question is - what exactly is the SCORM communicating to the LMS that tells the LMS that the Microlearning is "complete"? What conditions need to be met or what are the parameters being measured? We do not have any graded components in the SCORM, we have decided to build those directly within the LMS itself as there is no option to build quizzes into a Microlearning.

Hi Jen,
The student needs to view all blocks in the microlearning to get a completed status sent to the LMS.

Hi Karl! Thanks for your answer.
To clarify, do you mean interact with the blocks as well? For example, if there are flip cards, do they have to click on each flip card? And does the completion % that we set within the LMS also apply to the SCORM or does the SCORM have its own completion rate that it measures?
