Converting a project from Review into Storyline
Had a team member leave. They transferred his seat to me. I can see the content via Review but is nowhere in Storyline. Is there a way to convert so I can edit.

Hi Gary,
When content is transferred to you from another teammate, you'll see all of the user’s Rise 360 courses, Review 360 projects, and Storyline 360 team slides come over.
Any Storyline project files will not transfer as they will either be stored locally on your teammate's computer, or your company network drive. Also, any content in Review 360 is a published output and cannot be converted back into a Storyline .story file.
Hopefully, if they're on a network, someone on your team can help share any knowledge on where the Storyline files are saved!

I had a similar issue, I worked on a project and saved it and published it to review 360. The changes didn't save and I am hoping I can convert it or locate a recovered copy somewhere. Any ideas?
Hi Nicole,
Thanks so much for reaching out.
Just to clarify, did you create your course within Storyline 360 or Rise 360?
Thank you for this additional information!

Hi Nicole,
I'm happy to jump in here!
Although you cannot convert a published course from Review back to a .story file, there may still be a working version of your project in your temp files. Here's how to check:
- Open this folder in Windows Explorer: %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline
- Scan the contents of this folder for a file that starts with the name of your project. If you find one, copy it to your desktop. If you find more than one, copy the latest version to your desktop.
- Change the file extension of the copy on your desktop from *.tmp to *.story.
- Double-click the file to open it in Storyline.
I also wanted to quickly note that replying via email includes your signature here so you are welcome to edit the post and remove that information if you wish!
