Converting lessons into sections
This shouldn't be this counter intuitive. C'mon!

Hi Laurie,
What issue are you experiencing?

1. Please define lesson and section.
2. I think I created lessons. However, I want one of the "lessons" to be a section inside a lesson.
Am I thinking about this right? Also, how do I change it to a section? Sorry for my anger. The video didn't help. Working on a compliance module. Maybe that's it! LOL

Hi Laurie,
Here is a short explanation of Rise terminology.
When you open a Rise course from the dashboard and view the course contents, you typically have a mixture of Lessons and Quizzes. Lessons can consist of various block types, and Quizzes can consist of 4 different questions types.
Just below each item in the course structure you will see "Lesson" or "Quiz" to help you identify the type.
Rise courses do not have a multi-level hierarchy or structure, which means that all Lessons and Quizzes are created at the same level.
You can create Sections to help organize your course. A Section is an optional item. It's just a text label that can be used to visually group several Lessons. Sections do not have any content; it's just a label.
Lessons and Quizzes are created by typing the name and pressing Enter, then choosing either Lesson or Quiz as the type.
Sections are created by typing the name, and pressing the SHIFT + ENTER keys at the same time.
Sections are displayed as small CAPS, and can be positioned anywhere in the course structure.
