Copying text from PPT into Storyline

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are having a lovely day.

Would you please tell me what could be the solution for a issue I am experiencing?
I cannot copy from the PPT itself directly into Storyline file. 

I have to copy the text from the PPT somewhere else, for e.g. into NOTES and then I can copy the text to Storyline. 

Your help would be much appreciated as thus the copying process is way too complicated and time-consuming.
