Creating downloadable pdf files in Storyline - an update on earlier methods
Hey all! I've been using this method to create a job log (for installing my company's products), and the last two fields are acting really strangely. I can't figure out why, but those two fields are showing up as empty form fields. When I click on the form field, I can see the entry that I typed... why would it be invisible unless I click on the field? I tried adding the flatten command, but that didn't make the text visible. Thoughts?

Hi Sarah - Just going from your description, it sounds like it could be the same issue that John and I went back and forth on up above in my first couple of comments on this thread - as well as John's answer and explanation. Read through those and see if they help you figure out the problem.

It's not actually the same thing, unfortunately. I've already done that fix because I was also having those plus signs. In this instance, I see the blue form box rather than a blank white space with a plus sign. If I flatten it, I see nothing at all - just white space without a plus. Make sense?

Hmmm... I'm afraid I've reached the end of my expertise, but John or others might have some ideas for you. Most of the solutions I found by reading through examples and ideas here: https://pdf-lib.js.org/
I thought maybe you had reached some sort of maximum fields, but I noticed in one of the help forum comments someone said something about a document with 160 pages, so I doubt you've reached a maximum in your one page.
If you can, you might want to share your source files so others can get a better look at potential solutions for your issue.
