Custom button showing on layers

    Thanks for reaching out! I can confirm that you have the Slide Layer Properties set up correctly for your slide! Since Storyline 360 includes five prebuilt states, inserting custom triggers isn't needed. 

    Here's what I did to resolve this on my end:

    1. I removed the original button and inserted a brand new one to ensure the built-in functionality was present.

    2. To have clarity with the other elements on the Timeline, I renamed the button Continue.

    3.  I modified the Hover and Visited States so the button matches your original button.

    4. I inserted a Show layer trigger so your learners can click Continue and advance to the first layer.

    You mentioned you recently started experiencing this after installing Update 99. If you are still experiencing this issue in the updated .story file, I recommend a repair of Storyline 360. A repair can fix some erratic behavior across multiple Storyline files.
