Custom Fast forward and rewind
Is there a way to create simple Fast forward and rewind buttons?
If so what are the steps to make them
- MariaCSStaff
Hi, Martin.
Thank you for reaching out!
In Storyline 360, you can use the Jump to time trigger on custom buttons to simulate fast-forwarding and rewinding.
Take a look at the article below for additional information:

Hi There
Thanks for the tip but this does not work for audio only slide duration and location
I need a simple way for the user to fast forward or rewind an audio. Its not really acceptable for them to have it played from the beginning every time they miss something

Hi Martin,
Thank you for sharing some additional information.
Would you be able to share your project file privately with our support engineers to understand your course design and why this solution will not work for you? It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.

Yes
How do you want me to do it?
- Hi Martin,
I see that you have an open case with Cleo. I've sent you an email using that support case so that you can upload the file and continue working with our team.- MartinGregsonCommunity Member
Your system of communication is extremally inefficient.
Please note I am NOT a computer and require explanations to workout what your trying to say. Cryptic communications are annoying.
Can cannot recall opening a case suite case or any travel case. Please use words humans will understand.

- JackieHaCommunity MemberHello,
In case your issue has not been resolved, I believe I have a simple way to achieve what you would like? If you put the audio on a separate layer, then using the Jump to Time trigger will only affect the audio because the layer has a different timeline that the base slide.
