CustomerGPT - A.I. Chatbot Simulation
Hi everyone,
For those interested, this project is a role-play simulation that integrates ChatGPT into Storyline. The learner plays the role of a salesperson, trying to persuade a customer (played by ChatGPT) to buy a product. You customize the scenario by specifying a product name and a particular objection, and ChatGPT will respond based on the context you give.
Feedback is much appreciated!

Hey TaraP , and KarineMorris669 that sounds great.
The forum doesn't have a direct message feature, and I want to keep the pilot details private. The easiest way to connect is via LinkedIn—just shoot me a connection request and I'll send you the details.

I stumbled on this thread while looking for a way to do AI simulations, but it looks like the original link is dead (and a lot has changed with AI in 3 years!).
Since I couldn't find a working example, I’ve been working on a pilot tool that does exactly this—lets you run AI roleplays inside Storyline without needing to code the API connections manually.
I’m looking for a few instructional designers to break it/test it out. If you're still looking for a solution like the OP mentioned, let me know.

Thanks for the interest!
I realised that the 'Contact Me' button is disabled for some profiles here (or LinkedIn adds too much friction), so I’ve set up a direct fast-lane for the Pilot group.

I’ll keep this link active for 48 hours for those who commented

This is awesome! I am also curious how you built it? Curious how much planning and story boarding went into the ChatGPT side to the different types of responses needed.

Quite amazing! It felt real. How did you build it?

That was a great demonstration of what you are building.
