Customize Color for Word Bank Question Hover color?

Hi Troy, I don't have access to Storyline to check this but the blue color might be set in the hover state for the object. Select the answer field and then click the States tab that is located beside the timeline.

But I still can't edit that awful blue hover colour that quiz-questions all default to.

If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

I know that this was posted a while ago, but I changed the "Control 1" color but that did not change the hover color for the word bank. I changed the "Custom 2" color and that worked.

Thanks Arhip for sharing that piece of info here and I'm glad you were able to change the color. You'll find additional information on how theme colors should behave here. 

This post is even older than the one before, but...Control 1 changed the hover color for the drop blank and Custom 1 changes the options hover.

Anyone know how to change the hover state 1 pixel edge border, that's a light blue too and no mater what I change it stays light blue!

I have performed some tests and confirmed your findings. I tried changing every item in the theme colors, and it stayed blue. When hovering over Word Bank answers, there is currently no way to change the 1-pixel edge border.

We welcome your suggestions, and I went ahead and informed our product team of your need. We'll let you know if the feature that allows the edge to be modified makes it to our future release.
