Delete key not working on keyboard when in Storyline slide
Hi, Heroes:
When I select an object (say an image) on my slide and hit the delete key on my keyboard, the object doesn't delete. I have to right click and select "cut" (or go down to the timeline), which is slowing me down.
I'm on an iMac running Windows 7 via Parallels. Is this just me? Thanks so much. --Daniel

If the bounding line on the object is a dashed line, it is not actually selected, so Delete won't work. You need to click on the boundary to get a solid line, then delete.
Another problem you can have is clicking an object with text, which automatically selects text editing, and Delete will delete text. Again, click the bounding line.

Thanks for the response, but ... still not working. To give you and other example, if I simply do an insert shape, or any thing else and try delete right away it does not work (the undo does). So I'll try uninstall and reinstall.

I am having this issue as well, on two of my PCs so it's not just one device. The program is up to date. There's not even a delete function on the drop-down menu.

In the drop down menu, Delete is spelled "Cut". Still, the Delete key should work. It would be interesting to know if Yan's idea worked.
