Disable Quiz Results in Rise?
Is there a way to disable the quiz results in Rise. We love all the question options in Rise, but don't want to score our learners.

I also need this feature, specifically for the fill in the blank. We are asking learners to identify how they will apply their knowledge and would like an open-ended response feature. There are no correct options. Currently, learners will receive "incorrect" for any response they type.
Hi Daniel and Whitney,
Thanks for your question, and sorry you’re feeling stuck here.
Right now, there isn’t a way to hide quiz scores from learners. However, we would love to hear more about how these features would improve authoring in Rise for you if you’re up for logging a feature request.
If I can help with anything else please reach out

Thanks Allison,
We would like to use the open response feature in several of our courses. We have been able to remove the scoring feature by choosing “Knowledge Check” instead of “Quiz”, which is great, but our learners still see a big X on their screen when their open response doesn’t match a “correct answer” (see first screenshot). We were even able to change the word “incorrect” to “thank you” but in the end had to steer away from this block all together because it still looks as though the learner got it wrong. The solution we went with was to place the question on screen using the Statement block (see second screenshot) and hope the learner takes the time to reflect on it. The better option would be to offer them an opportunity to actually reflect using the knowledge check feature, but without requiring that there is an exact right answer.
We would like for our learners to have the opportunity to reflect on the knowledge they gain and:
* Put it in their own words
* State how they will apply it
* Determine key takeawaysAnd for those learning activities, we will never be able to capture every possible answer a learner might give and add it to the “Correct answer” list in the Knowledge Check block.
Thank you for the opportunity to give feedback.

Hi - as I'm sure you're aware lack of detailed reporting is probably the one thing preventing RISE from leaving ADAPT and your other rivals in the dust. We're about to author yet another course that could benefit from collecting ungraded survey response data, and will likely have to implement yet another hack / suboptimal workaround.
Is there *any* hope that an option to, at minimum, suppress/skip the results slide (or present a custom completion message) might arrive in the next month? Otherwise I'll just have to ask our team if they can hack the output JS like we often are forced to do.
Love your products, but would appreciate a bit more candor and acknowledging the validity of common real-world use cases.Hi Emil,
Thanks for your feedback! I'm sorry you feel like we're not acknowledging the validity of real-world use cases, that's not our intention. Please know that we take every feature request seriously, however, we receive hundreds of them every week. So as you can imagine, prioritizing them is no small task. Here's an inside look at how that process works.
I don't have any update on the ability to skip the results slide, however if you don't need to score your learners you could use the knowledge check blocks instead of a quiz lesson. Hopefully, that can work as a solution for you in the meantime!
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. :)

Hi,
If I use the Knowledge check instead of a quiz, can I tag this to Course completion based on correct/wrong answer?
I have been using the quiz as an acknowledgement survey for our compliance courses. Just one question that says "I have read and understood the policy" - Options Accept and decline. My LMS report is tracking how many people have accepted and declined based on Passes/Failed status. I would like to hide the results slide.
Can this be done using Knowledge Check?
Thanks,
Kavitha

Hi
is there any updates for disable the quiz score for learners?
In case we can’t disable the score, is there any way to add a text field for the learner to write his feedback or answers without getting score? I need to make brainstorming session for the learners and getting his idea or feedback without any scoring.
Looking for your response.
Hi there, Bdor. Currently there isn't a way to disable the quiz score or to include a blank text entry field for learners. We'll let you know if that changes!
Great questions, Ellen!
First, it sounds like you would benefit from a survey block in Rise 360. We're tracking requests for that feature, so I'll add your vote there.
For now, smart idea to a Storyline block as a survey! Let's get to your questions:
- Will the results report to the LMS?
Question-level details from Storyline Blocks aren't sent to the LMS.
- Is there a way to remove the black sides on the Storyline frame?
Yes! Simply adjust the player theme from Dark to Light. Then, set the background of the Storyline Block to white, and the slide will blend seamlessly. - Is there any way to embed only one slide at a time or will I need to create a new Storyline file for each ungraded quiz I want to include?
Yes, you can embed one slide at a time. When you publish the Storyline 360 content to Review 360, select the publish a single slide option. You'll want to do this for each slide in your Storyline content.
Let me know if you have other questions!

Am I missing something or is there currently no way to STOP Rise from showing the correct answers after user enters an incorrect response?
Hey there, Shelly. You can turn off the option to reveal answers in your quiz settings. Let me know if that's not what you're looking for!

It is but I do not have that option.
Hi Shelly!
Feedback will show immediately after the learner answers the quiz question. However, it sounds like you want the learner to go back and read the feedback after they complete the entire quiz, is that right?
I'll let our team know you have a need for that feature!

I wanted a way to give custom feedback after an incorrect answer (that tells them where they can go back and find answers), and custom feedback after a correct answer (that includes a link to their personalizable badge of honor). They should only be able to get to the badge if they've completed each activity in its entirety and retrieved the badge words "hidden" throughout the course. I know I probably gave you more information than you wanted, but this is why I didn't want to reveal the answers at all - just give the feedback.
Thanks for the context, Shelly! That use case sounds like a good use of Storyline 360. You can build the quiz in Storyline, customize the feedback any way you like, then embed it in Rise 360 using a Storyline block.
You can track the Storyline block quiz score by choosing the quiz tracking option when you publish from Storyline to Review 360, and then choosing to track the Rise course by the Storyline block.
In that scenario, the quiz score will be sent to the LMS, but question-level details aren't sent to the LMS for Storyline blocks.

Yes, a custom quiz in Storyline is my solution. Thanks!
Hi there, Kavitha! Rise doesn't send knowledge check to your learning management system. It's best to use a quiz lesson so you can track how many people have accepted and declined based on Passes/Failed status.

Hi All :)
Anyone knows it it is already possible to disable the score in the end of the quiz? We have some quizzes but we would like if the learners didn't see the score in the end.
Thank you
Hello, Training Quality! It isn't possible to disable the quiz results page for learners in Rise 360. Do you need to receive the quiz score in your LMS? If not, you could consider making a lesson with knowledge check blocks instead of a quiz lesson.
We'll be here if you need more help!

Any word on disabling the results in the result slide? Any alternative to this?
Mike
Hi Mike! If you need to track the learner's score, there won't be a way to hide the quiz results from the learner's view.
If you don't need the learner's score, however, you can create a lesson with knowledge check blocks which don't get reported to the LMS, and are assessed individually, simply as correct or incorrect.
