do examples get deleted after two years?

do examples get deleted after two years? i have clciked on at 6 and they are gone

  • Some of the ways people host them have been closed off, Articulate Online, Google drive so some disappear you could each out to th people with dead links

    Phil's absolutely right. The examples we create in-house are stored on our own servers, so they're unlikely to go away unless we retire them. But examples created by the community are hosted on whatever platform or service the creators themselves shared it on. So sometimes one will stop working because the platform it was on shut down, someone retired their website, or the creator cleared out old projects on their server to make room for new ones.

    If you ever bump into a broken example link, the best thing to do is simply comment on the post, mention the link is broken, and ask if the creator can provide a new one. That will message the creator and also let us at Articulate know there's a problem. More often than not, that leads to an updated link. And if we can't get in touch with the creator about fixing the problem, we'll eventually take down the post so nobody gets frustrated with a broken link.
