Does clicking on the menu equate to "learner has viewed"?

A question about Reporting and Tracking:

We're considering using a Free menu and under Tracking, using the When learner has viewed 100% of slides option.

If a learner simply clicks through the menu (rather than actually going through the slides), would that register as having viewed the slides?

    Thank you for reaching out!

    A slide is considered viewed when the timeline on that slide starts. It doesn't take into account how the user actually interacts with that slide.

    And just to confirm - does the timeline on a slide start as soon as a learner selects that slide on the menu?

    That is correct! The timeline starts as soon as the slide is selected.
