Does Rise support Adaptive Video?
We have learners on low bandwidth connections. Storyline has supported it for a while but I can't find any information on whether Rise has this this feature.
Can anyone advise?

This needs to be a feature request. We are finding users in low bandwidth environments struggling to load larger videos. The only alternative I can think of is to rebuild the course in Storyline just so the videos adaptively stream which seems crazy!

I second that. We have to compress our videos pretty hard for them to play at locations with low bandwidth.

That’s a good question, Chris. I’d like to learn the same.
I’m not certain if Rise has any such feature. However, I’ve a few observations:- Rise 360 does compress videos but at the same time, it also enhances the quality of low-resolution videos, thereby increasing the size.
- If we talk about Adaptive Video streaming, isn’t that something to do with HLS streaming protocol and the way modern browsers handle the same? If so, I’m sure all the LMSs and Articulate or any other SCORM packages are adaptive in playing higher resolution videos.
Have a nice day!
