Drag and drop activity item not returning to start point if dropped outside correct drop target
Hi everyone,
Just popping in here to say I'm experiencing the same issue. Bit rough after setting up a large 11 target drop interaction! Is there any way to be notified when the bug is fixed?
I'm afraid I can't share my file for proprietary information reasons.
Hi Keegan!
Sorry to hear you've also hit this snag with drag-and-drop interactions!
Just wanted to share that if your .story file contains sensitive information, you're welcome to share it with our support engineers privately. They would be willing to sign an NDA as well. We also delete customer files from our system as soon as troubleshooting is complete!
In the meantime, I've linked this discussion to the bug report so you can be notified as soon as a fix is in place.

Hi there, I seem to have the same issue. Is there any update on this? How can it be fixed? I've tried creating a new project, and resetting the drag and drop function and nothing seems to work. I went back to some old templates I had that work fine in Rise 360 but when trying in Storyline360 it has the issue. Is someone able to take a look at this for me?

I tested your first drag-and-drop interaction with the latest version of Storyline. I can confirm that all drag items return to their starting points if dropped in an incorrect drop zone or outside an correct drop zone. Please find the attached video demonstrating this.
