Hi Eric, Steven,
I hope this finds you both well. I have been busy with my other projects all these while.
I have downloaded the Storyline project file you shared with me. I had a question regarding the functionality: is it possible to enable users to select countries from the dropdown menu?
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Learners can select countries from a dropdown menu, but setting this up in Storyline can be time-consuming. You would need to create a system where selecting a country updates the state of a button to display the chosen country. This means creating as many states as there are countries in the dropdown menu. While this requires effort, it offers flexibility, allowing you to trigger additional actions based on the button’s state.
If this approach is too complex or time-consuming, you can import an HTML version of the country selection dropdown as a Web Object. This method achieves the same visual effect but has a drawback—it becomes difficult to connect the selection to Storyline’s player for triggering additional actions.
Below, the example on the left shows a dropdown menu created in Storyline, while the one on the right demonstrates a Web Object with an integrated country selection dropdown.
