Embed in Rise
How can I embed an infographic in Rise 360 from a site that provides the embed code? I hope that is clear as mud!!!

Create a MULTIMEDIA/EMBED block.
Paste the embed code.
Select EDIT, then CHANGE.
Paste your embed code.
Note that Rise does not accept some EMBED code parameters.

Here is the code I received. Can you tell me if this will work?

Hi Bob,
The embed blocks support iframe or URL - someone with better code knowledge might be able to help further here, but I've tried a couple of iframe codes and the link is unfortunately refusing to connect.
Here is the basic one I've tried and someone else may be able to add to it
What does work is if you just use the URL in the embed block instead: https://www.oberk.com/resource/1566399604000/CannabisLawResources/resources/marijuana-legality-by-state-6.png
This adds a thumbnail of the image, which can be clicked on to take you to the original version - which can be zoomed into. It's doesn't look so pretty, but is an option.
If you're allowed to and someone isn't able to resolve the iframe issue, I'd be more inclined to download the png and add it as an attachment block instead - this can be clicked on and holds the interactive functionality of being able to zoom into it.
Sorry I couldn't help further.

Hi Euan,
Thank you for your help. I think I am just going to use a link to the page. It's not that important to have it embedded. Just thought it would look better.
Thanks again,

Hi Bob,
Sounds like a good shout and sorry that you couldn't get it in as expected! Just as an after thought - if you did want to at least keep it within the module, if you download the image and add it as a labelled graphic but don't have any labels on it, the image stretches to a decent reading size.
You could always add it in an appendix section at the end of your course and use a button to link to that lesson - that way the link they're using stays within your own Rise Module.
Good luck with it!
Hello, Bob!
It looks like what you want to embed is an image file (.png). Instead of embedding it using an iframe code, could you download the image and upload it to Rise in an image block?

Thank you for the suggestions. My wife tells me often I try to do things the hard way too often! Thanks again for your reply.

How can I link to my appendix from lesson content?
- KarlMullerCommunity Member
Hi Christi,
What type of document is your appendix, and where is it stored?

Hi Karl. I am adding an appendix at the end of my Rise product and want to be able to send students from the section to the appendix and back to the section.
