Equations

Hello,

How can I insert a mathematical equation (Like the radar range equation) that contains complex symbols into articulate story line?

Regards

Valeska

  • Hello everyone, 🎉

I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 97, we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the new features we’ve included is:

    • Build math equations using LaTeX syntax and revise them by adding color and alt text, all within Storyline 360.

Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

One option is to bring complex equations into Storyline as a bitmap.

I think you should finally work on a new solution on that @ashley terwilliger

Also keen to have mathematical equation sets and symbols in Storyline. We're writing math courses and gudies for students for the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute and inserting math equations and symbols as images is difficult as there are alignment issues with text. Cheers!

  • Îœathematical equation should be on of your priorities to introduce.

    Thanks.

  • Yes.  I agree.  I want to create a math module in Storyline.  Is there really no way to type equations in Storyline?  Wow.  I am disappointed.

  • Is there any feedback on the issue of mathematical equations? I'm trying to make the equation user friendly, so I'm trying to insert each element into a different element, so that the learner can easily click to reveal what that element refers to. But have wasted hours this morning trying...

  • I agree that this should not be an issue! Using an image should never be the long-term solution. Is there an update on this?

  • Hi, everyone!

Thank you for adding your voices to the feature request. While I don't have any news to share, we will be sure to update you when we get new information.

This article explains how we work to prioritize feature requests.
