Error message when trying to insert media
Hi there! I am beginning a new project and any time I try to insert something: characters, animations, or videos, I am getting an error message to send a report. I only have a couple days to complet...

Sorry to hear that you're receiving error messages when inserting media into your Storyline 360 course. I'd be happy to work with you to figure out what could be causing that!
I had some follow-up questions first to help me get a better idea of your setup:
- Are you working locally? We recommend you Create, Edit, and Publish Courses on Your Local Hard Drive in order to avoid erratic behavior.
- Does this issue occur on a specific project file or across all the files you're working with? If it's the latter, I would suggest performing a repair of your Storyline 360 installation to see if that improves behavior.
- Can you confirm that the network endpoints are enabled? You may need your IT team to check if port 443 is open. If not, please ask them to open port 443 and add the domains in this article to your organization's allowlist.
If you would be willing to share the file here in the discussion or privately through a support case, I'd be happy to take a closer look and test the behavior on my end. We'll delete it from our system once troubleshooting is complete!
