I'm sorry you're running into an error message when publishing your course! I'd like to start by understanding if this is an issue with the font or something else in the project? Have you tried creating a new project with text in the Noto Serif SC font to see if it publishes as expected? If it does publish as expected, then it might be another element in your course causing the error message.
