Essay submission
Hi,
We need our learners to submit a lengthy written answer, that we can show on our reporting in our Learning Management System, Absorb. What is the best way to do this?

Have them enter their answer in a Survey Essay slide.
To have that answer submitting to your LMS, you'll also need to include a Survey Results slide.
You'll have to talk to your LMS folks about how to obtain the report.
Hi,
I've been experimenting with Survey Essay questions and I've noticed some strange behaviors. For example, my Slide Masters, when applied, do not work correctly--the fonts are wrong, or a text field from the Slide Master does not appear at all. Is this a known issue?

Thanks for sharing what you're experiencing, and I'm sorry to hear you've hit this snag. Does the issue persist if you import your slides into a new Storyline project? It would be helpful to take a closer look at your file if you're comfortable sharing. You can upload it here or privately in a support case and we'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
