Every layer's contents showing on each layer
Hi there. This one has me completely stumped. I have a slide that contains multiple layers. Hide other slide layers/and base layer are both selected but the contents of every layer are showing on every layer as well as the base layer. Those contents can not be selected, only the contents that are meant to be on the slide/layer. Hoping someone has come up with this before and knows what the solution is. I've attached the slide.

Hey Kim,
I've just had a quick look at your file. In 'preview' mode it correctly shows only the information on the layer you are viewing.
The only thing I can see is that when you are developing in 'slide view', you have the visibility set on some of your layers (see attached screenshot). Try turning those off. - JudyNolletSuper Hero
SteveHopper is right. The right-side of the Slide Layers panel has Lock/Unlock Visibility buttons. Eye icons show when they are in Locked position.
Typically, just the base is locked on, so it's always visible when you're editing other layers. But any layer's visibility can be locked, and the base can be unlocked. That can be helpful for aligning elements, but it's definitely confusing if you don't notice what's locked or unlocked.
FYI: There's info about that in this post: Can't see the base from a layer? Or is it just dimmed? Here's how to control visibility... | Articulate - Community
